GWECC has teamed up with GreeNu Commodities for the implementation of their first private waste-to-energy project in the USA. The project will be located in the State of Nevada and will convert used commercial and passenger tires into marketable commodities and is set to break ground before the end of the year.
GWECC will be instrumental in the manufacturing, implementation and commencement of the technology and project build out. This project gives GWECC another opportunity to showcase their efficient, scalable, and economical technology for waste conversion. Waste-to-Energy; Start to Finish
GWECC will implement a project turn-key solution for municipalities in 2010, to include a complete financial, technological, and logistical package that will enable municipalities the ability to succeed wate-to-energy projects; from start to finish.
This current package, with an emphasis on financing, is unique in how it gives local governments and cities the ability to leverage assets and see to it that these types of projects yield success. Currently, waste-to-energy projects are in heightened demand due to environmental and market cirumstances. This enhances GWECC's core competencies in commissioning projects from start to finish.
GWECC currently has several US projects courting this type of scenario, in proposed locations on the western and eastern seaboard.

Africa Makes First Move to Capture Innovative Technology
GWECC is pleased to announce a joint venture agreement with a Nigerian company for the immediate implementation of a waste-to-energy plant in the proposed location of Abuja, Nigeria. The move expresses Nigeria’s interest in moving to a more sustainable source of energy production. While renewable energy production methods have been receiving hype in the media, its places like Nigeria that are serious about capturing innovative technology aimed at solving the existing problems current energy production methods provide.
From a production standpoint, Nigeria will enjoy a GWECC process that will produce electricity from the derived feedstock of Municipal Solid Waste (garbage). The process tackles two-fold, the need for increased and consistent power sources and at the same time reducing the mounting garbage problem of landfill and incineration.
The first GWECC waste-to-energy plant will be in production in 2009, while other locations are currently being negotiated pending the completion of the first initial project.
